Privacy Policy
Undertow: Endless Dive ("the game") is published by Dimalta Studios (Giuseppe DiMalta). This policy explains what information is handled when you play the game on iOS.
What we collect ourselves
Nothing. The game has no accounts, no sign-in, and no servers of our own. We do not collect, receive, or store your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location, or any other personal information.
Your game progress (such as your best depth) and your settings (music and sound effects on or off) are saved only on your device. Deleting the game deletes this data.
Advertising
The game is free and supported by ads. Ads are served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service. To deliver and measure ads, Google's software in the game may collect and process:
- Device identifiers, including the Apple advertising identifier (IDFA) if you allow tracking
- IP address, which can indicate your approximate (not precise) location
- Device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, and language
- Ad interaction data, such as which ads were shown and whether they were tapped
- Diagnostic and performance data related to ad delivery
This information is collected by Google, not by us, and is handled under Google's own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Your choices
- Tracking permission (iOS). The game asks for permission before using your advertising identifier. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the identifier is not shared and you will see non-personalized ads. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. If you are in one of these regions, the game shows a consent message before any ads are requested. You can change your choices later from MENU > Privacy Options inside the game.
- Personalized ads. You can also manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
Children
The game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will help address it.
Data retention and deletion
Because we do not collect or store personal information, we have nothing to retain or delete on our side. Data saved on your device is removed when you delete the game. For data held by Google, see the Google links above.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
